We don't care what you call them, we keep them small to encourage intimacy, or closeness, with each other and with God. People feel more free to share within a small group setting, thereby facilitating spiritual growth, building friendships, and promoting a sense of belonging.
We believe everyone will benefit from being part of a small group. If you would like to join a group, please don't hesitate to ask the pastor how to get plugged in.
Gary & Anna Marie Pullen host a group in their home Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m. Sometimes they discuss the sermon and sometimes they get into a book study. They share a meal together potluck style.
There is a Senior Group that is hosted by various people in the group. They talk about the sermon and share a meal together.
Pastor's Small Group
Pastor Brian leads a small group on Tuesdays at the church. They are currently studying the book of Romans in the Bible. Everyone is welcome.
D429 Small Group
The name D429 comes from Deuteronomy 4:29 and indicates our life's purpose: seeking God thru Bible study and prayer. This meets at _____________________ and begins at 6:00 p.m. Bring a Bible.
Whether new to the church or new to faith, this study will help you connect and grow. The membership of this group is expected to evolve--some people moving on to beginning a group themselves, and new people joining as needed.
We Need You...
There is a need for more small groups in our growing body of believers here at Cherry Grove. If you would like to host a group, please see Pastor Brian. If you are already in a group, consider beginning a new one yourself.
Parents with Young Children
Families with young children are so important in our church. How can we minister to the parents? If you would like to volunteer to lead a Bible study or provide childcare during meetings, please contact us.
