MISSION MINDED

MARK 2:17

Jesus said to them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

The Church of the Nazarene takes the Great Commission seriously where it says, "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel" with our official presence in 162 world areas.  Currently, the Church of the Nazarene has 700 missionaries and 309 missionary children originating from 50 different countries.

Love In the Name of Christ is a local ministry which seeks to link those in need with persons from local churches who can assist in helping with a specific need. Go check out their website and see how YOU can help. You can also call (231) 779-1888. They have a Learning Center, Higher Ground Cafe, offer budget counseling and help with homelessness, and much more.

We do food drives in March, June, September, and December for the Cadillac Salvation Army. The Army offers food and financial assistance and takes part in Project Christmas.

Project Christmas is a community program that provides gifts and food to people in need. Visit their Facebook page to keep up-to-date about various fund raising activities and immediate needs for volunteers.

Check out the Nazarene Missions International website to learn about the missions they are a part of. It's impressive how far they have taken the good news of Jesus Christ, and all the ways they compassionately help all over the world.
